Once sold for $130, Superman has since made more than a billion

Superman was sold to the company that would become DC Comics for $130 back in 1938. Since, the Man of Steel has raked in more than $1billion through comic books and film adaptations. FinancesOnline.com recently ran a graphic that breaks down all the money Superman has brought in over the years.
