Oktoberfest, the beloved German drinking holiday, kicked off last weekend in Omaha with a big party at Gerda’s. If you missed that one, don’t worry: Assorted bars and cultural organizations have events lined up every single weekend this month.

» Jerry’s Bar, 6301 Military Ave., is up this weekend with a Saturday bash that begins at 11 a.m. — just in time for kickoff of the Husker game against UCLA. Jerry’s will have a variety of German beers on tap. For $12, patrons can buy a liter of the German beer of their choice, keep the mug and get $7 refills all day and into the wee hours of the morning. Or, if they happen to already own a liter-sized beer mug, they can bring their own for $7 drinks all day.
