Notes: ‘Art Block’ brings outdoor fun to LUX Center

Join the fun at the LUX Center for the Arts’ “Art Block” from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday. The outdoor block party, which will be held on the corner of North 48th Street and Baldwin Avenue in Lincoln, was planned by Sam Berner, a ceramics graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

It is a free event that will feature interactive installations, performance art, poetry readings, a puppet show, a yarn bombing and a children’s coloring station. Food trucks will be on site.
