It appears a former OPS teacher is a 'Bachelorette' contestant this season

The new season of the ABC reality series "The Bachelorette" doesn't premiere until May 19, but a dedicated group of fans are already sniffing around for scraps of bits of "Bachelorette" news. In the process, they've turned up one piece of info that might be of interest to our readers:

One of this year's contestants is an Omaha guy. Cody Sattler is actually a Kansas guy who lived in Omaha for a few years and now lives in Chicago. While he was here, he taught for Omaha Public Schools. OPS confirmed that Sattler was a sixth grade teacher at Boyd Elementary School from August 2009 to July 2011. Sattler now works as a personal trainer in Chicago.
