Hansen: Omaha artist's mural hung in New York Times lobby for 40 years; now it's home
The mural features the Northern Hemisphere, with red dots to mark the locations of famous cities — including one, on the western banks of the Missouri River, for which the artist had a particular fondness. (Yes, you guessed it: Omaha).

The first thing that U.S. presidents, titans of industry and famed journalists saw for four decades when they entered the New York Times arrived in Omaha on Wednesday morning.
It arrived in the most Nebraska way possible. It arrived in the back of a cherry-red Ford pickup truck.
