Creighton's Macklemore ticket giveaway goes on despite student gay marriage protest

A ticket giveaway for Creighton students to see star rap group Macklemore & Ryan Lewis was delayed after a few students at the Catholic university protested the duo's support of gay marriage.

The Creighton Students Union Program Board, which organizes events at Creighton, was set to give away some tickets to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' performance Tuesday at CenturyLink Center Omaha, but the giveaway was postponed after members of Creighton's Catholic Student Organization protested.
