Patricia “Big Mama” Barron, of Big Mama’s Kitchen and Big Mama’s Sandwich Shop, will be a judge at a “Chopped”-style cooking competition for kids this weekend.

Students from Omaha and Bellevue who are in junior high and high school can compete at the event, which will have a secret ingredient, just like the Food Network show. Participants will be challenged to make their best version of nachos.
