McDermott scores 30, Jays top Seton Hall for first Big East road win

NEWARK, N.J. — Doug McDermott proved to be every bit the handful that Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard feared he'd be in Saturday's game.
But it was McDermott's supporting cast, Willard said, that ultimately kept his Pirates from mounting much of a threat in Creighton's 79-66 win that sucked the energy out of Seton Hall's season-high turnout of 7,060 at the Prudential Center.
