NORMAL, Ill. — Creighton freshman Tommy Clouthier’s three-run double — his first hit as a Bluejay — capped a five-run rally in the 11th inning, lifting the Bluejays past Illinois State 9-4 Sunday.
Creighton (25-13, 9-6 Missouri Valley Conference) snapped the Redbirds’ 13-game winning streak by salvaging the series finale.
