Jays draw bead on Shockers
Creighton forward Alexis Akin-Otiko is expected to get more playing time as coach Jim Flanery leans more heavily on a two-post lineup instead of using four guards. Akin-Otiko, a sophomore out of Bellevue West, played 21 minutes in CU’s last game, seven above her average.

Creighton gets its shot Saturday at making sure the Missouri Valley Conference women’s basketball championship chase remains a race.
The Bluejays host league-leading Wichita State at 3 p.m. in Sokol Arena. The Shockers have a two-game lead on Creighton, and a victory would give them a dominating advantage heading into the regular season’s final five games.
