QUEENS, N.Y. — Creighton rode the long ball Sunday into first place in the Big East.

The Bluejays used a three-run homer by Jake Peter to post a 13-11 win against St. John's in the completion of Saturday's game that was suspended by rain. Mike Gerber then blasted homers in his first two at-bats and Ben Lahn punctuated a seven-run eighth inning with a three-run shot as Creighton rolled to a 15-5 win in the regularly scheduled game.
