Doug McDermott wins Wooden Award, Oscar Robertson Trophy, Lute Olson Award

Creighton forward Doug McDermott was selected as the John R. Wooden Award winner and was honored as the U.S. Basketball Writers Association's Oscar Robertson Trophy winner on Friday. He also received the Lute Olson Award that is given annually by CollegeInsider.com.
The Wooden Award, presented annually to the nation's top basketball player, is selected by a ballot of nearly 1,000 voters from across the country. The Oscar Robertson Trophy is presented to the USBWA's pick as national player of the year based on regular-season performance.
