One of Creighton baseball coach Ed Servais’ goals this season is to make sure that Jake Peter doesn’t run out of gas.
Peter played dual roles for the Bluejays last season, starting at second base and serving as the team’s primary closer. He performed both admirably: He hit a team-high .350, played impeccably in the field and recorded seven saves.
