WASHINGTON — A Creighton basketball team that has excelled all season as the hunter is having difficulty adjusting to a new role.
Facing teams in their past two games in dire need of a victory, the No. 13 Bluejays played tentatively, dug themselves holes and then couldn't recover. Georgetown repeated Tuesday night what Xavier had done to Creighton on Saturday in pulling out a 75-63 win before 12,105 at the Verizon Center.
