CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. — The Creighton baseball used a five-run second inning to kick-start its 17-2 over Southeast Missouri State on Tuesday.
Down 1-0 in the top of the second, the Jays (7-3) had seven straight batters reach base safely. Kevin Lamb, Brad McKewon and Jake Peter had RBIs in the inning, and two more runs scored on an error.
