Creighton survives St. John's, ends losing streak with first Big East win

Toby Hegner scored 21 points and James Milliken added 17 Wednesday night as Creighton defeated St. John's 77-74 to end its nine-game losing skid. Eight of Milliken's points came in the final 3:14 as the Bluejays won for the first time since Dec. 19.
