For 21 years, the C-SPAN bus has been touring the country, stopping at high schools and universities to show the political and educational programs and resources it has to offer.
The bus, in partnership with Cox Cable, will stop at four area locations today and Saturday as part of its winter tour.
Interactive technology will show C-SPAN’s in-depth public affairs coverage and educational outreach. Visitors can test their knowledge of the three branches of government in a touch screen quiz. And there will be demonstrations of mobile device offerings, HD cameras and production equipment.
Today’s stops at Tucker Career College Center and Thomas Jefferson High School in Council Bluffs and Bellevue East High School are not open to the public.
The Saturday stop, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Concordia Junior-Senior High School, 15656 Fort St., is open to the public.
