Oregon winery teams with Twisted Cork Bistro
Twisted Cork Bistro is having a wine dinner. Adelsheim Vineyard from Oregon’s Willamette Valley will be in Omaha on Tuesday for the event, which begins at 6 p.m. The dinner will be four courses paired with five wines and is $60 a person before tax or tip. Cantina Laredo has a plan for National Margarita Day
Saturday is National Margarita Day, and Cantina Laredo is celebrating with creative cocktails and a weekend fiesta.
The restaurant in Midtown Crossing will be serving its Tres Amigos cocktail: The margarita is made with silver tequila, orange liqueur and fresh lemon and lime juice. An overturned Corona beer attached to the side of the glass adds beer to the cocktail as the diner sips; a Sauza Hornitos Silver Tequila shot hangs from the glass rim. The drink will be available Saturday and Sunday for $8.

Omaha firm is finalist for national catering award
Attitude on Food, an Omaha catering company, is a finalist for a national catering award.
The Catersource Achievement in Catering Excellence Awards recognize companies in the catering industry that are notable in culinary, business, community and professional development. Attitude on Food is a finalist for the West region of the competition. The winners will be announced March 26 in Las Vegas.
