Omaha police were investigating two weekend shootings.
Two people suffered minor injuries about 11 p.m. Saturday after someone shot out a window of their vehicle.
Officer Michael Pecha, a police spokesman, said David A. Johns, 36, and Ashley A. Alba, 27, both of Omaha, were treated by paramedics and not hospitalized.
Johns and Alba drove to the southeast police precinct at 2475 Deer Park Blvd. to report the incident. They said they were northbound on 24th Street near Interstate 80 when a black Honda Civic pulled alongside their car. Someone in the Honda fired a gun, shattering a window. The victims said they didn't know the person.
Sunday about 2 p.m., Kourtney Jackson, 23, who was walking near 45th and Erskine Streets said he was shot by someone who got out of a vehicle after it stopped in the street, Pecha said.
Jackson was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
Pecha said the suspect fled.
