Building permit indicates Chick-fil-A coming to west Omaha

It looks like a new Chick-fil-A restaurant is coming to west Omaha.

According to a building permit filed Wednesday for a new commercial building, the restaurant would be located at 17501 West Center Road, at the southwest corner of 175th Street and West Center Road.
A Chick-fil-A spokesman could not be reached as of Friday afternoon.

But the permit filed by Edwards + Hotchkiss Architects in Brentwood, Tenn., lists a Chick-fil-A restaurant in the project description. The land is owned by Hand Cut Steaks Acquisitions LLC of Little Rock, Ark.

Chick-fil-A has standalone locations in Bellevue at 2016 Cornhusker Road and in Papillion at 8710 S. 71st Plaza. Another location is inside the Mutual of Omaha building at 3333 Farnam St. in Omaha.
