Two motorists were critically injured Wednesday in a three-vehicle crash at 78th and Pacific Streets.
Martin Greco, 51, and Cody Hauptman, 25, were taken to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition.
Omaha police said Greco was northbound on 78th Street in a 1999 Chevy S-10 pickup truck.
It collided about 8:30 a.m. with a 1996 Honda Civic driven by Hauptman that was eastbound on Pacific Street.
Hauptman was ticketed on suspicion of failure to yield to a traffic signal.
The force of the crash pushed the pickup into a 2003 Dodge Dakota pickup that was westbound on Pacific Street. It was driven by William Graves, 64, of Omaha, who suffered no serious injuries.
Police said alcohol use was not suspected in the accident.
Greco suffered lung injuries and internal bleeding. Hauptman suffered a broken collarbone and bleeding on the brain.
The injuries to both men were not considered life threatening, police said.
