Widespread bad weather has affected air travel to and from Omaha.
United Airlines canceled Tuesday evening flights between Omaha's Eppley Airfield and George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. Several flights between Omaha and Chicago Midway and Chicago O'Hare International Airport also were canceled due to high winds in Chicago.
Delta Airlines canceled one flight from Omaha to Atlanta and three flights from Atlanta to Omaha on Tuesday because of a winter storm. US Airways also canceled one flight from Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, N.C., because of weather.
Chris Martin, Eppley 's director of airline affairs and airport operations, advised all passengers to check with their airlines for the most up-to-date information.
