The Nebraska men's basketball team is among the six squads that have committed to play in next season's Diamond Head Classic at Honolulu.
The field also includes two ranked teams — Wichita State and Colorado — as well as George Washington, Ohio and host Hawaii.
The eight-team tournament will feature 12 games through three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through the bracket. Previous tournament champs include USC (2009), Butler (2010), Kansas State (2011) and Arizona (2012).
The Huskers have 88-83 record against the five teams announced Sunday, but have not played any of the teams since 2010-11. Next year's trip to the Diamond Head Classic will mark the sixth time that NU has traveled to Hawaii for a holiday tournament, and the first time since the 2006-07 season.
