Four players from Nebraska’s NAIA schools have been named to the Coaches’ All-America team announced Wednesday.
Doane’s Dillon Carmichael, from Loomis, Neb., was on the squad along with Peru State’s Tyler Ford, who played at Lincoln Southeast. Both are linemen.
Nebraska Wesleyan defensive lineman Phil Latimer, from Broomfield, Colo., and defensive back Darnell Woods, from Phoenix, were also honored.
Morningside’s Kyle Schuck headlined the offense after leading the nation in receiving with 1,419 yards and averaging 109.2 yards per game. He also was first in receiving touchdowns with 21.
