The temperature roller coaster in the Omaha area will keep rolling into next week.
Moderately warm weather continues through Sunday, followed by another burst of cold air on Monday. Then temperatures will begin climbing again.
There's an intermittent chance of rain through most of the weekend, including the possibility of storms Saturday morning.
John Feerick, meteorologist with AccuWeather, The World-Herald's weather consultant, sees no chance of snow.
Here's the Omaha-area forecast from the National Weather Service and AccuWeather:
Friday: Sunny, with highs in the mid- to upper 50s. A chance of rain moves in overnight.
Saturday: Possibly a rainy morning, but tapering off by the noon hour. Windy, with highs in the low to mid-60s.
Sunday: A lingering chance of rain, with highs in the low to mid-50s. Cold air moves in overnight; lows in the upper 20s.
Monday: Brrrr. Daytime temperatures may remain in the 30s, with overnight lows dropping into the teens, according to AccuWeather.
Monday and Tuesday night: Temperatures could drop into the teens, according to AccuWeather. But the weather service is projecting lows in the 20s.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Mostly sunny, highs in the 40s.
