Shellfish lovers, take note: Mondays are now officially all about the mussels — well, at least at all three locations of Shucks Fish House.
Every Monday in November, all three locations of the restaurant will present three — sometimes more — different steamed mussel dishes. Some examples from last Monday:
→ The downtown Shucks, 1911 Leavenworth St., served sherry cream mussels, Paella and “love mussels,” which were steamed in spicy Italian tomato sauce with garlic, capers, shallots and bacon bits.
→ The Pacific Street location, 1218 S. 119th St., had mussels steamed with Cabernet butter, Boston lager steamed mussels and mussels linguine topped with artichokes and fresh lemon basil.
→ The west Omaha location, 16901 Wright Plaza, went with Portuguese mussels, grilled mussels with basil butter and its own version of mussels linguine.
The selections will vary each week. For more information, visit absolutelyfresh.com.

Special wine dinner features collectible Italian wines
Dante Ristorante will focus on collectible Italian wines for its next special wine dinner.
The meal, which will be served Monday, will feature a rustic, Italian-style, three-course menu paired with the collectible wines: a 2009 Vietti Barolo “Castiglione” from the Piedmont region of Italy; a 2010 Tenuta Sant'Antonio Amarone from the Venuto region; and a 2008 Fattoi Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany region.
The dinner is $70 per person before tax or tip, and the wines will be available for purchase that evening. Reservations can be made any time between 5:30 and 9 p.m. on Monday; make one by calling 402-932-3078 or by emailing Adam Weber at firstname.lastname@example.org. Dante is at 16901 Wright Plaza.
