A 20-year-old man was shot Monday while sitting in the passenger seat of a sedan parked in an Omaha driveway, police said.
Police said Trey Johnson was shot in a hip, police said.
He was taken to Creighton University Medical Center in serious condition after he was shot about 8 p.m. near 24th and Evans Streets. His injuries were considered nonlife-threatening.
Johnson and witnesses told police that they had just pulled into the driveway when they heard several shots. Johnson then realized that he had been struck by gunfire.
No arrests in the shooting were reported.
