WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Both the Nebraska men’s and women’s teams finished 11th at the Big Ten championships Sunday.
In the 12-team women’s race, Husker freshman Anna Peer ran a 22:16.8 to finish 50th. Teammate Isabel Andrade (22:26.0) came in 58th.
“I thought that we competed really well, we had Anna out in front as our No. 1 runner and she did a good job today,” NU coach Dave Harris said. “All in all, I think our women did a pretty good job today.”
On the 11-team men’s side, freshman Joe Harter (25:37.1) was 62nd and senior Jarren Heng (25:40.6) was 65th for the Huskers.
NU will be back in action Nov. 15 at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Ames, Iowa.
