SOMERS, Wis. — The Creighton men and women's cross country teams each finished seventh Saturday at the Big East championships.
Maddie Ivy led the Bluejay women with a 36th-place finish in 22:56. Providence's Emily Sisson, a former Nebraska state champion at Omaha Marian and Millard North, finished first with a course-record time of 19:49.
Garrett Kenyon was the top finisher for the Bluejay men, placing 31st in 26:08. Villanova won the men's team race while Providence took the women's title.
