LINCOLN (AP) — Nebraska women's basketball coach Connie Yori has paid $98 for a traffic infraction arising from a parking garage accident.
The Lincoln Journal Star reported that the case of careless driving was resolved Wednesday.
Assistant University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Chief Charlotte Evans said someone spotted Yori's vehicle bump another vehicle in a campus garage Sept. 7. Evans said Yori left without leaving a note, but a witness left a note on the other vehicle. The owner of that vehicle later reported the incident to UNL police.
Evans said that when officers contacted Yori, she recalled bumping the other vehicle but didn't think she caused any damage.
The damage from paint transfer was estimated at $200.
