Marcus Midtown Cinema dropped its ticket prices
By Micah Mertes / World-Herald staff writer

Your dinner and a movie cost just dropped a bit.

Marcus Midtown Cinema reduced its ticket prices Friday. The theater, located at 3201 Farnam St., has lowered its fees to the following:
$5 for adults for shows starting before 5:30 p.m.
$7 for shows after 5:30 p.m.
$5 for children age 11 and younger and seniors age 60 and older for all shows.

Marcus Theatres advertising manager Bret Hoffmann said the lowered prices are an effort to make dinner and a movie a more affordable option.

Additional charges for 3-D movies and special events will still apply, and food prices will stay the same for the CineDine menu, the theater's full-service dining option.

CineDine recently debuted a new fall menu, which includes more movie-friendly appetizers, sandwiches and salads.
