IOWA CITY (AP) — Police say an Iowa City man accused of drunken driving got his car stuck on train tracks.
Iowa City police said 24-year-old Runjin Wang was found Saturday morning standing near his car, which was off the road and hung up on train tracks.
Wang’s car was still running when officers arrived. Police said he had bloodshot eyes, slurred speech and poor balance. A preliminary breath test indicated that his blood alcohol content was above the legal limit to drive.
Wang has been charged with a serious misdemeanor count of drinking and driving.
