A 39-year-old Firth, Neb., man died Wednesday night when his pickup truck rolled after failing to negotiate a curve in a Lancaster County road near Sprague.
The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office said Chad Kranau died after the 9:30 p.m. crash near Southwest 14th Street and West Sprague Road, which is just south of Sprague.
The sheriff's office said Kranau was westbound in a 2012 Chevrolet pickup on West Sprague Road when he failed to navigate the curve in the road at Southwest 14th. Officials said the truck left the roadway and rolled.
The sheriff's office said Kranau, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the crash scene after lifesaving measures were attempted.
The crash remains under investigation, officials said.
