Goodwill Industries will break ground on its second Papillion location Monday at noon.
The Omaha area’s 16th retail, donation and training facility will be located at 90th Street and Highway 370.
“The property purchased in Papillion fits the needs of Goodwill and the communities we serve,” said Goodwill’s chief operating officer, Randy Parks. The 16,850-square-foot building will house a retail store, production room, donation drop-off door and an employment and training room.
The free-standing facility, which is being designed by RDG Schutte Wilscam Birge and built by the Kiewit Building Group, is expected to open in early May 2014, creating 30 new jobs.
