Pieocracy, which offers personalized pizzas, and Cuppycakes Sweet Boutique will join the lineup of eateries at Nebraska Crossing Outlets when it opens Nov. 15.
Pieocracy is owned and operated by Nebraska Crossing Outlets. Cuppycakes is owned by Shari Preister.
Pieocracy will allow guests to build their own pizzas, choosing from any combination of sauces, cheeses, meats and fruits and vegetables for one price of $8.50. Pizzas will be baked in an open-flame 800-degree oven that bakes the pie in three minutes.
Guests also can build their own custom salads, selecting any combination of greens, veggies, fruits, nuts, cheese and dressings for one price of $7.50
The Nebraska Crossing store will be Cuppycakes' second location. The vintage-inspired bakery, which specializes in one-of-a-kind pastries such as cupcakes, cheesecake and other treats, opened in January 2012 inside Sempeck's Bowling alley in the Elkhorn area, then moved to 14242 Fort St., Preister said.
Preister said she received an invitation from Nebraska Crossing's developers to open a store at the Gretna outlet shopping center. In addition to cupcakes and pastries, the store will offer appetizers and pair its cupcakes with wine.
“The format will be a little different — more like a cupcake lounge,” said Preister, who signed the lease Friday.
Burger Star, Big Cheese, Scooter's Coffeehouse, Subway, Auntie Anne's and Bakery Express are the other announced food tenants at the mall at the intersection of Interstate 80 and U.S. Highways 6 and 31.
