Mavs fall to Northern Colorado after strong start

Greeley, Colo. — The UNO swimming and diving team lost its weekend road series at Northern Colorado, falling 175.5-124.5 Monday night.

The Mavs won the first five events, including the 200-yard medley, 1,000-yard freestyle and 200-yard free, before falling behind.

The 200-yard medley team of Natalie Renshaw, Jenna Foiles, Madeline Hutt and Whitney Korgan oposted a time of 1:49.66, slightly behind their 1:48.21 finish at Air Force.

On the diving side, sophomore Miranda Knipfer and freshman Gabi McNeilly took second (2:18.70) and third (2:09.32) place in 1-meter. Knipfer also took second in 3-meter (2:18.32).
