Plans for new developments are underway at the Marketplace Shopping Center on South 24th Street.
The Council Bluffs City Council Monday night approved a request by the center’s new owners, Red Legacy of Kansas City, Mo., to divide one large lot into three smaller ones for possible sale to new tenants later, according to the Community Development Department.
The one large lot spans from the north side of Shopko to the south side of J.C. Penney, said Rose Brown, that department’s planning director.
“This action will create three separate lots that could be bought or sold in the future,” she said. “It’s a rearranging of lot dimensions.”
