Omaha health leaders will unveil a community health improvement plan Oct. 17 at the Omaha Health Summit.
The event at the Hilton Omaha, 1001 Cass St., will start at 8 a.m. and conclude about 1:30 p.m.
The Douglas County Health Department wrote the plan. The one-day conference will be overseen by Live Well Omaha and the Wellness Council of the Midlands, also known as WELCOM.
The keynote speaker during the luncheon will be Tyler Norris, a vice president with Kaiser Permanente.
The cost to attend is $40 for the luncheon only; $50 for students; $89 for those in government, education, a nonprofit group or a business of fewer than 50 employees; $99 for a member of Live Well Omaha or WELCOM; and $150 for nonmembers.
Those who want to attend must register by Friday.
