John-Brandon D. Ladd, one of three suspects still wanted in connection with “Operation Wipe it Down,” turned himself in early Friday, Omaha police said.
Ladd, 24, was booked into the Douglas County jail on suspicion of delivery of a controlled substance.
Ladd was among 18 people sought or arrested as part of a local and federal crackdown on alleged gang members and associates. Authorities have said the suspects deal in illegal drugs and guns. Ladd brings to 16 the number of accused in police custody.
The nine-month investigation allowed authorities to take 45 illegal handguns, rifles and shotguns off the streets. They also seized more than a pound of marijuana and about 72 grams of crack cocaine.
