A driver who lost control of his car in a dramatic crash Saturday near 108th and Blondo Streets is in good condition, the Nebraska Medical Center said Saturday.
The Dodge Nitro driven by Robert L. Johnson, 43, crashed at 5:10 a.m. into a fire hydrant and a utility switch box. The car rolled, landed on its wheels and hit a light pole, Omaha police said.
Officers reported that Johnson suffered a head injury. They ticketed him on suspicion of negligent driving and not having insurance.
