A man was shot in west Omaha Saturday night while driving near 144th and Blondo Streets.
The injury did not appear to be life-threatening, according to police. He was transported to a hospital by ambulance.
Authorities received the emergency call about 10 p.m.
According to an officer and witnesses at the scene, shots were fired at 144th and Blondo Streets near a Phillips 66 station. The Dodge SUV driven by the gunshot victim came to rest in the intersection.
Two children in the car were unharmed but were taken to the hospital for treatment.
No suspects had been arrested late Saturday.
