The Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District has passed a $93 million budget for the 2014 fiscal year.
That's 6 percent larger than the 2013 budget, but the district's property tax levy will stay the same: just over three cents per $100 of valuation.
For a home worth $150,000, that works out to $49.13. Some $17.57 million of the natural resources district's spending will come from property tax revenue.
The largest item in the budget is a $42.9 million bond issue for a new dam site at 168th and Fort Streets.
