Police say two Omahans were injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle traffic accident at 40th and Nicholas Streets.
Tavell Mosley, 27, was driving east on Nicholas Street in a 1987 Pontiac Firebird just before 5 p.m. As he passed through a stop sign, the Firebird struck a northbound 1999 Dodge pickup truck driven by Cheryl Weston, 65, according to Omaha police.
Mosley was taken to Creighton University Medical Center for a fractured jaw and arm. Police cited him on suspicion of a stop-sign violation and driving during suspension.
Weston was taken to Nebraska Medical Center for bruising and pain.
On Thursday, shortly after 12:15 a.m., one person was critically injured in a traffic accident at 20th and Pierce Streets. The injured man was taken to Creighton University Medical Center.
