Authorities said they have arrested a Yankton, S.D., man accused in several school burglaries in South Dakota and Nebraska.
Police said Michael Langley, 57, is charged with two counts of second-degree petty theft and two counts of third-degree burglary.
Langley is accused in burglaries in Menno and Yankton in South Dakota and Crofton and Wynot in Nebraska between Aug. 24 and last week. Money was taken in at least two of the incidents.
The arrest follows an investigation that involved Yankton-area police and sheriff’s offices, the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
