The 37th annual Buffalo Run is Sunday in Lincoln.
Pioneers Park will host the 5-mile event. The route starts at the top of the Pinewood Bowl. The course is certified. Organizers say it's scenic, but demanding.
More than 500 people are registered. Sign up for $35 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. during packet pick-up on Saturday at The Lincoln Running Co., near 12th and Q Streets. Online registration is closed.
Trophies will be awarded to the first four men, the first four women, the first man over 40 and the first woman over 40 who complete the race. T-shirts will be given to the first three men and first three women in each age group. Those who have finished five or more previous Buffalo Runs will also win a T-shirt if they run faster than their average time.
All participants will receive a pair of microfiber running shorts.
