Two people were injured in a hit-and-run crash at 52nd Street and Northwest Radial Highway about 12:30 a.m. today, authorities said.
The victims, both of Omaha, were in the same vehicle, a silver sedan. which was struck from behind by a red pickup truck, police said.
A front-seat passenger, a 35-year-old woman, was taken with serious injuries to Creighton University Medical Center, police said.
The sedan's driver, a 31-year-old man, had less-serious injuries and also was taken by ambulance to Creighton.
The victims' names and conditions at the hospital were not immediately available.
Both vehicles were traveling westbound on Northwest Radial. The car apparently was stopping for a traffic light when it was hit.
Police found the abandoned pickup near 67th and Emmet Streets. Authorities were still looking for the driver early today.
