Classic rock will echo through the halls of Ralston Arena on Friday.
Songs such as “Born on the Bayou,” “These Eyes,” “Bad Moon Rising” and “American Woman” will flood the arena when Creedence Clearwater Revisited and The Guess Who perform.
Creedence Clearwater Revisited involves original Creedence Clearwater Revival members Doug Clifford and Stu Cook as well as John Tristao (formerly of People!) replacing John Fogerty on vocals.
Since forming in 1995, the band has toured every year and released a double live album, “Recollection,” that includes such Creedence hits as “Who'll Stop the Rain,” “Hey, Tonight,” “Down on the Corner,” “Proud Mary” and “Fortunate Son.”
The Guess Who formed in the early 1960s and included Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman, and the band had hits with “No Time,” “American Woman,” “These Eyes” and “Share the Land.” The current lineup of the band includes original members Jim Kale and Garry Peterson.
