Omaha police investigated three shootings overnight Saturday. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
A pair of shootings were reported Saturday about 10:45 p.m. The first occurred near 17th and Vinton Streets, where Donald Kalhorn, 45, appeared to have been shot in the back by a pellet of BB gun while walking down the street.
Across town at 37th Street and Fowler Avenue, a 17-year-old youth told police that he was struck by gunfire from a dark green sedan.
The youth was taken to Immanuel Medical Center by private vehicle with a superficial wound, Pecha said.
Early Sunday, Lawrence Wilson, 30, and Keion Shelton, 32, told police they were hit by gunfire about 1 a.m. while sitting in a car outside a bar at 803 S. 20th St. The victims drove to Creighton Medical Center with wounds that were not thought to be life threatening, Pecha said.
A hospital spokesman said no information about Wilson or Shelton is being released.
