LINCOLN — The July men’s basketball recruiting period has ended, the calendar has flipped to August and Nebraska is still in search of its first oral commitment for 2014.
But coach Tim Miles isn’t fretting.
“We’ve got a good depth chart of young big guys we are recruiting,” he said. “I think we’ve made pretty good progress.
“We’ve got visits lined up, and we’re finalists with some guys good enough to help us.”
Nebraska currently has two scholarships available for 2014. Miles said the plan is for both to go to big men.
