Morning commuters, take care. Fog is likely to complicate your drive Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for most of eastern Nebraska, western Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
In the Omaha and Lincoln areas, the advisory will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. Visibility is likely to drop to one-quarter of a mile or less, according to the weather service.
North to south, the advisory stretches from about Tekamah, Neb., south to the Kansas-Oklahoma border.
West to east, the affected area runs from about Grand island, Neb., to Atlantic, Iowa.
Long stretches of Interstates 80, 29 and 70 are likely to be affected by poor visibility.
